Yechiel Marcus

Planned Giving Advisor and General Development

Yechiel grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts and earned his B.A. in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania. After falling in love with Israel during 6 months studying in the country, he returned to the U.S. where he finished his masters degree in social work at Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work. He worked as a group worker for three years at JCCs in New Jersey. In 1987, Yechiel and his wife and young family moved to Israel, and have been living in Bet Shemesh for many years. After 17 years in commercial banking in Israel, Yechiel decided to combine his financial and marketing experience with his social work background and joined the Jaffa Institute in 2004.
