Centers
The Jaffa Institute provides services to disadvantaged children in an atmosphere infused with love, dignity, compassion and respect.
The children at our centers & facilities have been referred to the Jaffa Institute by the Ministry of Child Welfare. Our staff cares for children of various ages who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment by their families. Individualized treatment plans are designed to address the unique educational, emotional, and social needs of each child. The children are taught to believe in their future while dealing with the trauma of their past and adjusting to their present environment.
The children who participate in programs within our Moadoniot/ After School Activities Center are given an alternative to being on the streets. Each Center provides a warm, homely feeling as well as care, support, and encouragement to succeed.
Children who live in one of our residential facilities, experience a home designed to provide relaxed, supportive, family-style living. ‘House parents’ live with the children and provide a nurturing, family setting based on core Jewish values. The children participate in various therapies, a solid educational program and family activities such day trips and community activities.
