Grant & Development Coordinator - Entry Level
The Jaffa Institute is seeking a, English-speaking Grants and Development Coordinator.
The Jaffa Institute runs 30+ programs for disadvantaged people of all ages, across different sectors of the Israeli population, in South Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Bat Yam, Yehud and Beit Shemesh.
Work is based at the Jaffa Institute's offices in South Tel Aviv, with some flexibility to WFH.
The Grants and Development Coordinator will work in a team, and will report directly to the Grants and Development Manager.
This is a great opportunity for those wanting to enter the nonprofit sector, and gain experience in resource development. Employees are encouraged to develop new skills and test their ideas.
Responsibilities include:

Collaborating with other Grants Department team members, and the Jaffa Institute’s fundraising team.

Writing and editing grant materials, including LOIs, proposals, and reports (training will be provided).

Researching and contacting prospective donors and foundations (training will be provided).

Creating social media content across various platforms.

Assisting with volunteer/group and donor visits.

Completing other projects as assigned by the Grants and Development Manager.
Qualifications:

Identification with the organization’s mission.

Fluent English required (Hebrew is a plus – there are Hebrew speakers in our office too).

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Able to effectively manage time to meet multiple deadlines.

Demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector (an understanding of resource development is preferred).
