Therapy Room Naming
Parent-Child Centers
The Jaffa Institute operates two Parent-Child Centers serving approximately 800 disadvantaged families with children up to age six in the impoverished neighborhoods of Jaffa and Kfar Shalem. These centers provide therapeutic, educational, and socioemotional support designed to strengthen the critical early bond between parent and child.
Parents participate in support groups, educational workshops, and therapeutic interventions while building community through structured activities led by a multidisciplinary professional team that includes social workers, developmental psychologists, graduate students, and specialists in speech, music, and occupational therapy.
These programs help parents develop the tools needed to nurture healthy child development, strengthen family stability, and create a more supportive home environment.
Impact: In 2025, improved parent-child dynamics were observed in 90% of all Parent-Child Center interventions, demonstrating the transformative effect of early support and guidance.
Naming Opportunities
To enhance the therapeutic environment for families, the Jaffa Institute is renovating two therapy rooms at the Kfar Shalem Parent-Child Center.
A gift of $35,000 will be recognized with the naming of one of the center’s two therapy rooms, creating a lasting legacy of support for families during their children’s most formative years.
