The Formal Invitation

In Memory of Rabbi Dr. Eliyahu Hartman z"l

Dr. Rabbi Eliyahu Hartman z"l, a man from an illustrious Torah family, was celebrated for his profound impact on Jewish life in the U.S. and Israel. He received his rabbinic ordination from Mesivta Rabbi Chaim Berlin Rabbinical Academy and went on to earn advanced degrees from universities in Florida and Tennessee. A dedicated educator, Rabbi Hartman served for over 30 years as the Vice President of the American Friends of the Jaffa Institute and Bet Shemesh Educational Center. His work was instrumental in the center receiving a prestigious award for education, and he lectured widely on a range of topics across North America and Israel.

A Project in his honor

In memory of Rabbi Dr. Eliyahu Hartman's unwavering pursuit of educational excellence, we are raising funds to renovate and refurbish a study hall (Beit Midrash) at the Bet Shemesh Educational Center. Upon completion, the hall will be named in his honor.

By donating to this project, you will help us create a space that continues his legacy of profound educational impact and inspires generations to come.

Take a look at the current Beit Midrash - and our plans for the space
