Dear Friends and Supporters,

In the face of danger, we are witnessing bravery, mutual responsibility, and a deep love for our people and our land in every corner.
This is a moment of national resilience-a moment that defines who we are.
In the midst of this reality, The Jaffa Institute has not paused for a moment.
Even as daily routines are disrupted and the education system remains closed, we launched our emergency response this morning (Sunday), including:

Daily Zoom sessions for the children in our after-school centers - preserving structure, learning, and a sense of belonging.
Regular phone check-ins and home visits to hundreds of elderly individuals and Holocaust survivors - ensuring they are truly cared for.
A dedicated emotional-support hotline - where our social workers provide daily assistance to those experiencing anxiety, loneliness, and distress.
Our phones haven’t stopped ringing.
Requests are pouring in from across the population-from families struggling to afford diapers, to women in need of a listening ear, to elderly individuals and Holocaust survivors facing isolation.
We are here for each and every one of them-listening, acting, and embracing with full hearts.
This mission belongs to all of us.
Now is the time to come together. To act together. To give together. To strengthen one another.
On a personal note - I, along with other members of our team, have once again been called up for reserve duty.
Yet it is precisely from this position-serving in the reserves-that I reach out to you:
To share the dedication of our team on the home front, who are doing everything in their power to continue serving thousands of beneficiaries.
Due to the war our summer project fundraising campaign is in limbo but time isn’t standing still and the need is greater than ever.
We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and educational summer framework for 800 children and youth at a cost of $500 per participant.
Please extend your hand-and give generously, as your heart and ability allow.
Your support at this moment is far more than a donation-
It is a powerful partnership, a living expression of our shared humanity and unwavering commitment to one another.
With deep gratitude and respect,
Yechezkel Portowicz
