"The earth does not forget. It carries the memory of tears."

– Leah Goldberg

Today, over 123,000 Holocaust survivors live in Israel.

Many of them were here when the State of Israel was established – they built, fought, and survived.

Now, many of them are facing harsh and painful realities, often alone.

Thousands of Holocaust survivors live in heartbreaking conditions:

Loneliness, poverty, physical limitations, crumbling homes, cold winters, scorching summers – and all too often, an empty fridge.

These are the women and men who helped build our country. It is our duty to preserve their dignity.

At the Jaffa Institute, we are there for them every day.

Through daily action and deep commitment, we provide Holocaust survivors with what they need – and what they truly deserve, so they may live the rest of their lives with dignity.

The support we provide includes:

– Food deliveries 🍞

– A listening ear👂

– Combating loneliness 🤝

– Cultural activities 🎼

– And above all: warmth, love, and genuine care
