Despite working two shifts a day, Leah* still struggled to cover the rent and keep food on the table for her three children. As each paycheck ran out, she watched the pantry grow emptier, knowing there were still days left before she would be paid again.
Everything changed when Leah began receiving food from The Jaffa Institute’s Food Distribution Center. Twice a month, a box filled with essentials like rice, pasta, canned goods and oil arrives at her home — giving her something every parent deserves: the security of knowing her children will have enough to eat.
Today, those boxes mean more than food. They mean stability, dignity, and one less impossible choice for a mother doing everything she can for her family.
